Pico FM Transmitter for iPod®
"When compared to other standalone (non-charger) FM transmitters such as the XtremeMac AirPlay2 or the Griffin iTrip, the Pico comes out on top easily, even pushing its way onto FM frequencies that already have a fair degree of noise on them." -

"A nicely designed iPod dock and remote control system with audio/video outputs and charging capabilities, including cables for both. Included remote uses RF (radio) technology to achieve 50-foot or through-the-wall control of dock, better than both standalone Infrared remotes and the one sold by Apple, and now includes iPod menu?" -

"The Kensington Entertainment Dock 500 offers a sleek and elegant design, as well as S-Video and minijack-to-RCA outputs, and it charges the iPod while it plays. The included remote gives you total control of your iPod from afar." -

"The iPod Video in itself is a cool device for playing short videos, but watching video of more than an hour or so is taxing, not only on your eyes because the screen is so small, but on the device itself because battery life when watching video on the iPod is just anemic. You can connect the iPod video to a TV set for playback on the TV, but you'll still have to figure out a way to keep the iPod juiced with power. " -
John Virata, Consumer Electronics Net

"Compatible with all of the dock connector iPods, the Entertainment Dock 500 doesn't just sit there and look pretty (although it does a good job of that too). It charges your iPod, transmits audio and video to your home theater system, and allows you to control your iPod from up to 50 feet away using a cute little remote control styled after Apple's trademark white shiny devices." -

Stereo Dock for iPod®
4.5 "mouse" product rating, by Macworld
"The Kensington Stereo Dock for iPod connects to your home stereo, cradles and charges your iPod, and operates via an infrared remote. Loading your music collection into your iPod frees shelf space formerly occupied by CDs, and the clean, white design makes the Stereo Dock practically invisible." -

Best iPod Dock of 2005, by iLounge.com
"Exceedingly convenient docking, charging and remote control solution designed to connect an iPod easily to any existing home stereo system. Compatible with all Dock Connecting iPods. Build quality and looks are up to Apple's own standards; street price makes this an affordable alternative to buying Apple's Dock, a separate remote, and cables." -

"Kensington's Stereo Dock is a clever system that combines the functionality of a bunch of other accessories into a package that's much more convenient to use -- you just plop your iPod in the cradle and press Play. Although it may seem pricey, when you add up the devices it replaces, it's actually a pretty good deal." -

"This is easily the best of the four models. The sound, driven by Kensington's "Aerielle" technology, is as crisp and clear as you can expect from an analogue FM transmission, and the car radio's volume doesn't have to be cranked up as it does with the others to varying degrees. The display has an attractive blue backlight and is easy to read. It has the advantage over the others in that it charges your iPod at the same time. A safety fuse protects your iPod from power spikes. Rating: five stars " -

"Great sounding in-car FM radio transmitter and iPod charger with easy to read backlit screen and simple controls. Better overall audio quality than virtually all of the FM transmitters we've previously tested." -

"The Kensington transmitter is easy to use, but it also sounds great as far as FM transmitters go. Part of this is due to the fact that it uses the line-level audio signal from your iPod's dock connector port rather that the headphone jack. The other part, according to Kensington, is the unit's patented Aerielle wireless technology, which claims to provide better noise reduction and stereo separation." -

"But I've been using Kensington's cigarette lighter-powered transmitter, and darned if it doesn't produce audio which sounds just fine, with barely any static or distortion. Kensington's transmitters use technology from a company called Aerielle which is designed to spruce up the sound of wirelessly-transmitted audio, and it works so well that I'm no longer flirting with the idea of having some sort of wired iPod adapter installed." -

"Single device allows you to listen to radio stations on your iPod or broadcast your iPod's music to an FM radio. Four presets. Identifies ideal frequencies for you. Best broadcasting power of any standalone (non-charger) FM transmitter we've tested. " -

"When you listen to the sound that comes out of this system, it thrills you. The design is so simple, and the sound is so powerful, that it completely belies the complexity of the workings behind the speakers. The modern, simplistic design is as elegant as the iPod itself; it really is that good. I?m glad I got the white version, as the black iPod would probably look a bit out of place." -

"First, it just looks cool. Second-unexpectedly, given its slim profile-it actually cranks out some impressive sound. That's largely due to an innovative flat-panel speaker design ("SurfaceSurround," as they call it) supplied by esteemed Brit brand NXT." -

"Bigger bass sound than most sub-$200 dockable systems. Loud enough to fill a room. Uses universal iPod docking system and comes with trays for some older iPods. iPod charges while docked. Audio-in port for non-dockable iPods. - Rating: 4.5/5 stars, "iPod Garage Strongly Endorsed" -

"At home or in the office, the Kensington SX 2000 Speakers for iPods do something that similar speakers can't. Thanks to NXT's advanced SurfaceSound flat panel speaker technology, they deliver clearly superior bass and sound balance from both sides of the unit. $159 kensington.com" -
Brett Larson, The CBS Early Show
